French Porcelain Potpourri Pots

Pairs of adorable children adorn these charming potpourri pots attributed to famed French porcelain maker Jacob Petit, one of the finest porcelain artists of the 19th century. The vessels are topped by a pierced lid, which allows the scent of the perfume or potpourri within to disperse throughout the room. It is exemplary of the opulent artistry for which Petit is renowned, from its brilliant green ground to its Rococo-style gilt ornamentation.
